- Post-Graduation in Agricultural Science / Environmental Sciences /Social Sciences/ Statistics from a recognized university/Institute.
- Ph.D in Agricultural Science/Environmental Sciences / Social Sciences / Statistics from a recognized university/ Institute. Research Scholars who submitted their thesis to Ph.D.
Master’s degree in Economics and M.Phil degree in Economics; those who have just enrolled in Ph.D.
Ph.D / PG Degree in any Social Sciences such as Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Economics, Development Studies, Sociology, Econometrics, or Nutrition with five years of experience. Research scholars who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis.
Desirable Qualifications: Good communication skills and ability to write in English, and communicate in Hindi is very essential. Experience in conducting field work and willing to travel for data collection, and documentation. Proficiency in MS Office is required. Ability to summarize data using Excel/SPSS/any Statistical Software will be an added advantage.

Research Assistant (A):
PG Degree in any Social Sciences such as Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Economics, Development Studies, Sociology, Econometrics or NIRDPR PGDRDM
Good communication skills and ability to write in English. Ability to communicate in Hindi and Malayalam will be an advantage. Willing to travel for data collection, and documentation. Proficiency in MS Office is required. Ability to summarize data using Excel and knowledge of SPSS / any Statistical Software will be an added advantage.
Any Master’s Degree in Economics, Rural Development, Social Work, NIRDPR PGDRDM
Masters in Psychology /Social work/ Sociology/Development Studies/ Gender and Women Studies/ Economics/Anthropology/ Population Studies/ Dalit and Tribal Studies, NIRDPR PGDRDM.
Preference will be given to those who have Master’s Degree in Psychology and on the social issues such as marginalization, minority, poverty, gender, social stigma, discrimination etc. and having the experience of analyzing large-scale data in SPSS or other statistical packages.
M.A. in Social Sciences with Diploma / Degree in Training & Development, NIRDPR PGDRDM
Masters Degree in Public Health/Sociology/Demography/Social Work/Women Studies/Rural Development Candidates who have completed MPhil and enrolled for Ph.D. may also apply. Knowledge of SPSS is Essential Fluency in English and Hindi is a must. Ability to communicate in Marathi will be an added advantage.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have a background in Public health and have experience in Qualitative and Quantitative Data Analysis.
Research Assistant (B):
UG Degree Computer skills, knowledge of SPSS and data analysis
UG Degree and working knowledge of SPSS
PG or Ph.D in Agricultural Science/ Environmental Science/ Social Science/ Humanities/ MBA/ Statistics from a recognized university/ Institute or NIRDPR PGDRDM.
Post Graduation preferably in Agricultural Science/ Environmental Science/ Geography/ Social Science/ MBA from a recognized University/ Institute or NIRDPR- PGDRDM
Selection Process: The process of selection will be done by the assessment and Interview. The candidates will be shortlisted base on the assessment. The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date, of Interview, time and venue of the Interview. The Institute reserves the right to relaxation in some exceptional cases of qualification, experience etc. The selection will be done at NIRD&PR, Rajendranagar, and Hyderabad. The Project Positions require travel to study area. The project assignment will be done purely temporarily and does not envisage any kind of regular appointment in NIRD&PR in future.
