Training & Placement:
- The selected candidates will be required to undergo one-year orientation training in any of the Training Facilities situated at various locations such as Tarapur Maharashtra Site, Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, Kaiga Karnataka and Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu etc.
- Those trainees who complete one-year orientation training successfully will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C and will be liable to be posted at one of the Units/Sites/Upcoming Projects/Offices of NPCIL located in different parts of the country.
Bond: Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement and a personal indemnity bond for ` 4, 30,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Thirty Thousand Only) to serve NPCIL for at least three years after successful completion of training.
Fee: An application fee of Rs. 500/- is to be paid by the male candidates of General and OBC. The candidates belonging to SC/ST category, women candidates Persons with Disabilities, Dependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA) are exempted from payment of the fee.
Selection Process: The process of selection will be done by the scrutiny of applications. The candidates will be shortlisted base on the scrutiny of applications. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview. Short listing of candidates to personal interview for the posts of Executive Trainee 2018 will be done by applying the ratio of 1:8 and in the order of merit drawn on the basis of valid GATE 2017 and GATE 2018 Scores.
Candidates obtaining valid GATE 2017/GATE 2018 scores will only be eligible. The score is valid only if the candidate obtains more than or equal to the qualifying marks as fixed per the respective discipline in GATE 2017/GATE 2018. Please note that only GATE 2017/GATE 2018 score is valid for this recruitment exercise in NPCIL under the mentioned advertisement. GATE score of 2016 or of previous GATE examination shall not be entertained.
Candidates appearing for interview will have the choice of answering the questions either in Hindi or English. The appointment of the selected candidate as Executive Trainee will be subject to she/he being found Medically Fit by the Authorised Medical Officer of NPCIL.

Selection Process: The process of selection will be done based on the online/written test and personal interview. The Personal Interview will consist of 100 Marks. The qualifying marks are as follows:
Unreserved Category – 70%
SC/ST/OBC/PWD – 60%
The shortlisting of applicants for a personal interview for the post/s will be done by holding a written/online test. Final merit list of the candidates will be prepared based on marks secured in the interview and will be limited to a number of vacancies notified. Final selection shall be based solely on performance in personal interview. Written/online test, if conducted, shall be only for short listing candidates for interview and no weightage will be given for online/written test marks during the final selection.
Based on the experience and performance in the interview, applicants may be considered for additional increments. The appointment of the selected candidate as Medical Officer will be subject to she/he being found Medically Fit by the Authorised Medical Officer of NPCIL. Applicants appearing for interview will have a choice of answering the questions either in Hindi or English. Initial screening is primarily based on the information provided in the online application form.
