Age: Candidates age should not be below 18 years and above 27 years of age as on 1.3.2018. Usual relaxation in age will be admissible to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Challenged / Ex-Servicemen/ Widow/ Divorcee Women / judicially separated Women and are not re-married and dependents of Freedom Fighters as per Government Rules.
Fee: An application fee of Rs. 300/- is to be paid by the unreserved/ OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- is to be paid by the SC, ST Physically Challenged, Ex-Servicemen, Dependent on Freedom Fighters candidates. The fee should be paid through online payment gateway provided by UCO Bank.
Reservation: Reservation in direct recruitment for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Physically Challenged and Ex-Servicemen shall be in accordance with the Rules, Orders and Notifications issued from time to time by Government of India in respect of posts carrying the pay scale corresponding to the pay scale prescribed for the posts of Junior Court Attendant and Chamber Attendant(R), subject to such modification, variation or exception as the Chief Justice may, from time to time, specify. Selection Process: The process of selection will be done by the Written Test. The Written Test will contain objective type questions and the test will be conducted for 1 ½ hour. The test will be conducted on the topics General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness. The test will be conducted in the bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. There will be separate written tests for the posts of Junior Court Attendant and Chamber Attendant.
The candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications, specialized knowledge and experience in the field of Driving/Cooking /Electrician / Carpentry, House-keeping work, watch & ward security and caretaking work etc. Final selection list shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Written Test. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for applying to the post.
No Admit Card for Written Test will be sent by post. The candidates are to download Admit Card for Test from Supreme Court Website. The Result shall be displayed on the website of the Supreme Court of India on the date to be notified in the future. The number of vacancies is tentative and subject to change i.e increase or decrease due to administrative reasons.

After scrutiny of the applications, the candidates who are found eligible for consideration may be first subjected to Objective Type Written Test and Technical Aptitude Test and those who qualify in these Tests will be called to appear for the Practical Aptitude Test and those who qualify in the Practical Aptitude Test will then be called for the interview.
